I baked chocolate dinosaur cookies for Halloween instead of bats and cats.

one minute of autumn

There was a perfect autumn day waiting on the other side of summer. George was taking care of a dog for the weekend, and I made her hats out of leaves. Sitting outside, making sure to keep the dog warm and close to the heart, we drank cappuccinos and devoured crisp apples and pumpkin pie as if it was our job to single-handedly keep winter at bay.
